Jandakot

The Brief

One Construction had been contracted by Coregas to build an industrial shed in Jandakot. We were engaged to design tilt-up concrete wall panels and steel portal to support the roof structure.

The Challenge

With industrial builds such as this, the challenge is always to combine functional simplicity with lasting durability. Having had lots of experience with tilt-up concrete construction and steel roofing design, our team was able to deliver a design that excelled in both.

The large size of the building’s footprint was also somewhat of a challenge. Basing our design around the use of steel fibre reinforced concrete flooring helped to eliminate the concrete floor joint that would otherwise have been necessary.

The Result

Timeframes and budgets are always of paramount importance with industrial construction projects, and we were able to deliver One Construction a sturdy, functional and reliable structure on time and in scope.
